Senior Risk Management and Claims Consultant
Utilizing over 19 years of professional experience within the field, Karen serves as a Senior Risk Management and Claims Consultant for Campania. Specializing in the areas of Podiatry, Long Term and Skilled Care, Assisted Living, Acute Care, and Psychiatry, she conducts site surveys, incident intake and evaluation, and collaborates with Campania's clients to develop effective interventions that reduce incident frequency and overall potential loss exposure. In addition to providing her Risk Management expertise, Karen also assists the department with claim evaluation and management, litigation strategy development, and by providing services as a mediator.
Karen has over 20 years of acute care experience in the areas of Cardiac Care, Intensive Care, Recovery Room, and Emergency Room nursing. She holds Florida certifications in both Risk and Claims Management, and has additionally completed the National Health Lawyers Association's Certificate in Mediation Training program.
